What does emergency garage door service cost?
After 7:00 PM, calls are handled as after-hours emergency service at $159.95, until we open again at 7:00 AM. In hours it is $79.95, and the repair is priced on top of either one the same way. Normal hours are Monday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, so the emergency window is the same every night. You hear the after-hours rate and agree to it on the phone before we set off, never once we are standing in your driveway. We will not publish a response time we cannot keep, so call and we will tell you honestly when we can be there. That is Anchored Garage Doors, Fisherville, Kentucky.

What counts as after-hours?
After 7:00 PM, calls are handled as after-hours emergency service at $159.95, until we open again at 7:00 AM. It is the same window every night, including weekends. Between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM the standard $79.95 service call applies instead. It is the clock that decides and not the day — we work all seven days at the normal rate, and there is no extra for it being a weekend.How quickly can you get here?
We will tell you on the phone, and we will tell you the truth — including when the answer is tomorrow morning. We do not publish a response time, because a time published on a website is a promise made before anyone knows what else is booked or where the truck is. A real answer from a person who knows both is worth more than a number on a page.My car is shut in the garage. What do I do right now?
Do not try to force the door or lift it by hand, particularly if you heard a bang — a broken spring means the door’s weight is no longer counterbalanced and it can come down hard. Most doors have a release cord that disconnects the opener so the door can be moved manually, but if a spring has gone that will not help and can make things worse. Call us and we will talk you through what is safe with your door.Is it cheaper to wait until the morning?
Yes. You can avoid the after-hours charge altogether by waiting for normal business hours: once we open at 7:00 AM it is the standard $79.95 service call rather than $159.95 during the night. If the door is shut and the house is secure, waiting is usually the sensible call and we will say so. If the door is stuck open, that is a different question and it is worth the extra.Do you charge more for the repair itself after hours?
No. The service call is what changes. Parts and labor are priced the same at nine at night as they are at nine in the morning, and you get the whole figure in writing before we start.
